Choose Your Exposure Level
Pick Prudent, Balanced, Risky or Advanced — how much of each leader trade your account copies, and the exposure limits around it.
Your leader decides what to trade. Your exposure level decides how much of it your account copies, and the exposure limits around it. It applies to every new copy, and you can change it later. You choose it first: the next step suggests a trader for that level.

The Four Levels at a Glance
| Prudent | Balanced | Risky | Advanced | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| In one line | Up to a quarter of every trade, across 3 leaders. Your balance comes first. | Up to half of every trade, across 3 leaders. Moderate swings, in both directions. | Up to full size, across 3 leaders. Your leader's losses are yours. | Every setting is yours. You are on your own. |
| Size of your copies | 25% across 3 leaders | 50% across 3 leaders | 100% across 3 leaders | You choose (Risky's by default) |
| Leaders you follow | Up to 3 | Up to 3 | Up to 3 (2+ recommended) | Up to 5 |
| Total exposure up to | 3× your balance | 10× your balance | 20× your balance | 20× by default, another cap or none |
| Drawdown alert | −8% (heads-up at −6%) | −20% (heads-up at −15%) | −50% (heads-up at −30%) | Yours, or an automatic stop |
Sizes are scaled to your balance and set per leader: Prudent copies each leader at 1/12 of their position, Balanced at 1/6, Risky at 1/3. Following fewer than 3 leaders lowers your exposure, it never concentrates it. Drawdowns are measured from your account's highest balance; an alert never pauses copying by itself, it offers one-tap actions: close losing positions, close all, pause new copies or do nothing. Leverage doesn't change your gain: only the size does.
Advanced is open with every plan, free trial included. It starts with Risky's settings, and you can change the size of your copies, up to 5 leaders, the total exposure cap (or none), a maximum of open positions, the alert thresholds, an automatic stop that closes every copy and pauses copying at the drawdown you choose, and whether adds and your leader's take profit and stop loss are copied.
Every rule, side by side: The Four Exposure Levels.
Preview Your Next Copy
Each card shows, for your balance and your first leader (empty until you have one):
- Next copy — the size your next copy would have.
- Liquidation at — an approximate liquidation distance for that copy.
- Leader's trades too small for you — the share of your leader's trades (at their full size, adds included) whose copy would fall under Hyperliquid's minimum order at your size and level. They open at 11 USDC, larger than your level's share.

How Much Do You Need?
Your account needs a minimum balance to copy, because Hyperliquid has a minimum order size. Plan for at least 1,100 USDC at Prudent, 550 at Balanced and 300 at Risky: below that, most copies open at 11 USDC, larger than your level's share (why).
Above the cards, a line shows the level we recommend for your balance (or for the amount you plan to deposit): the most prudent level whose minimum you cover, for example “Recommended for your 600 USDC: Balanced”. Under every minimum, it says so: copies open at Hyperliquid's minimum order size whatever the level, and Risky stays closest to your traders' proportions. It's only a recommendation: Balanced stays selected until you pick another card.

No level adds a stop of its own: your leader's stop loss and take profit are copied. Want an automatic stop? Choose Advanced: it closes every copy and pauses copying at the drawdown you choose. If your leader sets none, a position can be liquidated. Your balance should be money you can afford to lose. Above 10,000 USDC, Risky asks you to tick “I understand and want the Risky level.”
Prudent, Balanced and Risky need a Hyperliquid Unified Account in cross margin, with no position opened by hand on it: until then, new copies wait. Advanced needs it only for stock, index and commodity markets (xyz). Limits count every position on your Hyperliquid account, including the ones you open yourself: don't open positions by hand on the account you copy with, or your real exposure is unknown.
