# Renew Your Trading Key

> The WakeTrades trading key is valid for 180 days. Sign a new one from your Profile before it expires, without stopping your copies.

Your trading key is valid for **180 days**. Renewing it takes one signature, and copying doesn't stop.

## When to Renew

- The bot reminds you before the key expires.
- From 30 days before the end, a banner on your dashboard and a **Sign a new key** button in your Profile appear.

## Renew

1. Open your **Profile** and click **Sign a new key**.
2. Confirm in MetaMask.
3. *New key registered.* The new end date is shown.

Your current key keeps trading until Hyperliquid registers the new one.

## If the Key Has Expired or Was Revoked

Copying stops and the dashboard shows *Trading key expired or revoked*. Your open positions keep their stops on Hyperliquid. Click **Sign a new key** to start again.
